CNAME Lookup

Resolves a domain's CNAME record — the canonical name it's aliased to, if any.

An alias — points this name at another domain name instead of an IP address directly.

Commonly used for subdomains handled by a third party (e.g. a CDN). A domain's root/apex generally can't have a CNAME alongside other records.
