Warmup networks are pools of mailboxes, some real accounts volunteered by other customers, many synthetic, wired together by automation. The seductive part is that warmup appears to work: the dashboard shows inbox rates climbing inside the pool. Then the real campaign goes out, real recipients ignore or report it at whatever rate the list quality dictates, and placement lands exactly where authentication, list quality, and content would have put it anyway.
